How does the bed work and is it easy to turn it into a desk?

Anybody can operate a Hiddenbed... it's very easy and only takes a few seconds, as you can see from the video. You simply pull out the pin on each side and the bed will easily move into position, added by the balancing mechanism. To use the desk simply reverse the process.

   What happens to all the things on the desk when I want to use the bed?

     Nothing happens to the things on your desk. There is sufficient clearance under the bed for all the items to remain securely in place...           computer, keyboard, monitor... even a glass of water!

What happens to the mattress when I turn the bed into a desk?

The mattress, pillows and bedding simply remain in place as the desk moves into position.

Is the bed secure in the upper position when I'm using the desk?

Absolutely yes. There are two easy-to-use locking pins that fit snugly into a latch... one on each side. These lock the balancing mechanism securely.

Is the Hiddenbed lever mechanism and system safe?

The entire lever system is designed with safety first. It has also been thoroughly tested and approved to the highest ISO international standards.

Is Hiddenbed suitable for children?
